Dissemination of Good Practice

Our school received an award under the "Dissemination of Good Practice Initiative." We wanted to extend the range of literacy opportunities on offer and to enable the children to become more independent learners. Mrs Henry worked on a team teaching basis in each KS1 class and also ran parent workshops in "Reading". Children now use the task board to help them understand the work they need to complete. The computer, magnetic boards, listening centre and paper based activities take account of different learning styles.
